Common Home Own Issues of Not Double Checking
Moving into a new place is always a stressful event. You have no idea what actually works and what doesn’t. Everything is new to you as well. On top of it all, you are having problems finding good people for HVAC repair in Queens, since you are new to the area. It’s tough, but I’ve been through it.
I moved to New York when I was 23 years old and right out of college. My first place was an apartment that I lived in for 10 years until I got married. My husband and I found a nice home out in Queens. We always loved the culture that Queens had, so being among a people that made us so happy and alive was exactly what we did. We had only visited Queens, never stayed there. Once we visited and saw the perfect home for sale, we jumped on it. Six short months later, we moved in.
The home was standard and everything was supposed to be new. Which was our first mistake of trusting the seller. We could have had everything looked at, but we didn’t. When we were moving in, we tried to turn the HVAC system on, but nothing worked. We did the normal things of calling to make sure we were getting on the system for it, which we were. Nothing should have been the issue. The biggest one we had was finding someone to come on short notice to Queens.
We eventually met a man named Fred who did HVAC work for a small company. He came out real fast and found the issue, which was one of the fans was blown. We told him that it must have just happened because the seller told us everything was new. Fred informed up Looks like this fans been out for years.” Fred even showed us the old fan he replaced, which was obviously unused and broken. He gave us the advice to get an inspector in and make sure the electrical was all good as well, just in case.
We don’t know what we would have done without Fred! He saved us a lot of issues and was able to fix all the problems that we had with our HVAC system!
